De sociale partners van Thales Nederland – de bestuurder en centrale ondernemingsraad – zijn op maandag 16 september 2024 met elkaar de hoofdlijnen van de nieuwe regeling overeen gekomen. Deze zijn vastgelegd in het transitieplan en zijn aangeboden aan het bestuur van de Stichting Pensioenfonds Thales Nederland.
Opdracht aan Stichting Pensioenfonds Thales Nederland (SPTN)
Hiermee geven de sociale partners de opdracht aan Stichting Pensioenfonds Thales Nederland (SPTN) om op basis van de uitgangspunten, zoals opgenomen in het transitieplan de nieuwe pensioenovereenkomst uit te voeren. Het bestuur beoordeelt het transitieplan op uitvoerbaarheid en evenwichtigheid. Daarnaast hebben de sociale partners het verzoek aan SPTN gedaan om de pensioen aanspraken en – rechten zoals deze in de huidige en voorgaande pensioenregelingen zijn opgebouwd, in te varen. Het bestuur van SPTN maakt naast het transitieplan ook een implementatieplan en communicatieplan. Deze worden ter goedkeuring voorgelegd aan de wettelijke toezichthouders, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) en de Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM).

Offering Transition Plan for the Future Pensions Act (WTP)
The social partners of Thales Netherlands – the management and central works council – have agreed on the main outlines of the new scheme on Monday, September 16th. These have been recorded in the transition plan and submitted to the board of the Thales Netherlands Pension Fund Foundation.
With this, the social partners request the Thales Netherlands Pension Fund Foundation (SPTN) to implement the new pension agreement based on the principles included in the transition plan. The SPTN board will assess the transition plan for feasibility and balance. Additionally, the social partners have requested SPTN to integrate the pension entitlements and rights as accrued in the current and previous pension schemes. Following the transition plan, the SPTN board will prepare an implementation plan and a communication plan, which will be submitted for approval to the statutory supervisors, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).
